Laurie Snow Hein was raised in South Florida, graduated from Clewiston High School and attended Columbus College of Art & Design in Ohio, on a full scholarship. As a mother of six, a breeder of Haflinger Horses, an art Instructor, a portrait artist and nationally distributed illustrator, Laurie portrays the beauty of creation and heart through her art. Published by Arts Uniq', Inc. in Open and Limited Edition Lithographic prints; Cards; Needlepoint Design; Calendars; Wearing Apparel and multiple gift items; Laurie has produced designs for such companies as Current, Inc; Marion Heath; Enesco; Airwaves; Peeking Needle Craft; Roxbury Twain; Multnomah Books and Home Interiors, Inc. Subject matter for recent images include gardens, botanicals and tropicals that capture the southern landscape along with garden gates and pathways from her travels. A member of the Atlanta Portrait Society and the Portrait Society of America, Laurie is actively painting portrait commissions and is available for commissioned paintings of children, adults, corporate, and pet portraits. Her love of children, animals and gardens is demonstrated in her many illustrations and in a new series called "Garden Angels".
